Applications

The GearDryer Solo 12-volt boot dryer is unrivaled for its versatility. It looks great wall mounted in your mudroom or entryway at home and when you want to take it on the road, simply slide it off the bracket and into your duffle bag.

The modular dryer can be wall mounted at chest height or closer to ground. At chest height assemble the ports at a 45-degree angle from the wall to hold boots and gloves. At the lower height position the front ports facing down to direct airflow into boots sitting directly on the ground beneath the dryer.

When using the Solo in a freestanding application, attach the front ports horizontally and place heavy boots on their side to direct airflow into them. Place lighter items such as gloves and your helmet on the top ports.

The high volume of ambient airflow, multiple setups, and modular ports make the Solo uniquely suited to a wide arrange of gear types.

Solid machine!

This dryer is built the way I would have built one; I expect it to last a lifetime. The only improvement I can suggest is to add a heat option. That’s an easy way to pre-warm boots in the morning before heading out.

Great but needs improvements

Great unit, however, the power coming out of the front of the unit is stupid. Put it on the left side. I get why it's not on the back or bottom for wall mounting but the front?! Also it tips over with boots on the top. And finally, the position of the tubes is really hard to get right. It looks like you can't get the 45 degree angle on the top tubes that the website shows. Does it work? Yes! But it could use some user friendly updates to make it top tier.

Dry boots!

As a ski industry professional, it is important that my boots are clean and dry. The solo 12v hums away quietly, in my office, and ensures that when I throw my boots on, I'm comfortable and ready to go!
